Q: What will I learn in this class?                                                                  

A:  This course will teach participants about hospitality work and the necessary workplace skills to get and keep a job in the hospitality industry. Participants will have hands-on experience in a kitchen and dining room in addition to visiting a local hotel and winery.

Q: What does this class prepare me to do?

A:  This class will prepare you for entry level jobs in the hospitality and foodservice industry. This class can also prepare individuals for the Napa Valley College Hospitality, Culinary & Tourism Management Program.

Q: What are the prerequisites?

A:  Participants must be at least 18 years old or have a high school diploma.

Q: When is the class?

A:  The class is offered Tuesday and Thursday.

Q: Where is the class?

A:  Class is offered at the Salvation Army, 590 Franklin St. in Napa.
